Two places at Jasper National Park, in Alberta. On the left, the Athabasca Falls. On the right, the valley that can be seen from the Mount Edith Cavell.
It's my pleasure to introduce in my blog, photos from Canada. A country that has some of the most beautiful landscapes that I have ever seen in my life.
Two places worth visiting in New York City. On the left, a dinossaur skeleton at the American Museum Of Natural History. I spent an entire morning there and didn't saw everything, however it was well worthy. On the right, a photo of Greenwich Village. This shows the arch at Washington Square Park by night.
Another landmark of New York that can't be missed, one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States, stretches over the East River connecting the New York City boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
The most popular icon of New York City, the Statue of Liberty. Standing in Liberty Island, on the mouth of the Hudson River. It was a gesture of friendship from France to America. The sculptor was Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, and Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, the designer of the Eiffel Tower.
Two marking places in New York, on the left, the place were the World Trade Center used to be, right behind the Winter Garden. On the right photo, Ellis Island, were the Immigration Museum is located.
Back to New York, this is the USS Intrepid. You can visit this Aircraft Carrier at the New York harbor to visit it as a museum, the Intrepid Museum.
"This Essex Class aircraft carrier was one of America's most effective military vessels. Along with her 23 sister ships, the USS Intrepid formed the backbone of the United States Navy and its commitment to securing peace and freedom..."
There's a strange thing about this one, it appears that has two colors mixed on its petals but actually it only has one color and its not this one that you see.
Let's leave New York in peace for a while and change the subject. Here's a new subject to my blog, macro shots from flowers. I have tons of fotos like these, it's a kind of photo I enjoy taking, so I'm making a selection of those that are worthy and post them here.
Last year I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Ney York, these were taken when I just arrived. Still shaken with the city size and magnitude of the buildings, I was able to take these two pictures worth publishing. Stay tuned, there will be more from New York to come...
