Trip to Alvao Natural Park

This is some of the photos I took on a trip to Alvão Natural Park on 'Mondim de Basto'. The last photo on the right its a view on a small village called 'Bobal'.

Geres Landscape

Lots and lots of rocks, this is a common view on Peneda-Geres National Park.

Alto Rabagao

Here you can see the artificial lake created by a damn located in the north of Portugal, at Peneda-Gerês National Park. It is called "Alto Rabagão".
The photo on the right shows a skeleton giving the photo a sense of harsh environment, but still pretty on the framing.

Resurrection Bay and Fox Island

Above, two photos from Fox Island, the end of a cruise I made at Seward on the Kenai Fjords National Park.

On the left, a view on Resurrection Bay, beautiful and full of wildlife, puffins, steller sea lions, humpback whales...

This post also means the end of Alaska's photos, it was amazing, I hope one day to return there...

Holgate Arm

This is Holgate Arm, part of Holgate Glacier.

Holgate Glacier

This is Holgate Glacier. I made a cruise on Ressurection Bay.
On this cruise I went to Holgate Glacier, the captain stopped the boat real close to the glacier. The silence and calm there is amazing, only interrupted by sound of the glacier breaking.

Kenai Fjords National Park

This is on the Kenai Peninsula, I've made a cruise to the Kenai Fjords. These are some of the glaciers I've seen during the cruise.

Peyto Lake

This is Peyto Lake, located at Banff National Park.

Lakes at Canada

I'm not sure what's the name of this lake, but it's in Banff National Park. "Just" another of the countless lakes that can be found there.

The Squirrel

This is in Moraine Lake at Banff National Park. I liked this little guy so much, that I am going to do a post just for him :)
I made some research and I think this is a Golden-mantled Ground Squirrel.
He was very cooperative and even posed for the camera, I think he is used to all this attention from the tourists.

I found this little fellow on Lake Moraine, he is very photogenic. First he looked at the lake then posed to the camera.
I think he has the touch to be a model.

I can say without any doubt that these were the best shots I took in Canada, and they are still some of my favourites.
