Trip to Alvao Natural Park

This is some of the photos I took on a trip to Alvão Natural Park on 'Mondim de Basto'. The last photo on the right its a view on a small village called 'Bobal'.

Geres Landscape

Lots and lots of rocks, this is a common view on Peneda-Geres National Park.

Portuguese Rallye on Povoa de Lanhoso

The first proof of the Portuguese Rallye on 2007, was a super special on Povoa de Lanhoso.

Alto Rabagao

Here you can see the artificial lake created by a damn located in the north of Portugal, at Peneda-Gerês National Park. It is called "Alto Rabagão".
The photo on the right shows a skeleton giving the photo a sense of harsh environment, but still pretty on the framing.

Óbidos Castle

Elected recently one of Portugal's 7 wonders. This is a castle located at Óbidos. A town in Portugal that is surrounded by a fortress wall.

First insight on Lisbon

This is in Lisbon, capital of Portugal. This area is Belem.

On the right you can see "Padrao dos Descobrimentos". A monument to the Portuguese that discovered half of the known the world.

Resurrection Bay and Fox Island

This is Holgate Arm, part of Holgate Glacier.

Holgate Glacier

This is Holgate Glacier. I made a cruise on Ressurection Bay.
On this cruise I went to Holgate Glacier, the captain stopped the boat real close to the glacier. The silence and calm there is amazing, only interrupted by sound of the glacier breaking.
